Remembering

Tomorrow is a day I would prefer to skip. Not that it would change anything really, but it would be one less day to think about it. April 30, 2008 my Grandpa passed away. It was very sudden and totally unexpected. My Aunt Suzie sent me these pics of him last year right after he passed. I think they are the neatest thing.

Grandpa was one of the smartest people I knew. If you had a question, he no doubt, had the answer. Even if there was no question, he still had a comment. When I got engaged, I really looked forward to having him at the wedding and see me get married. He was always manged to make the 6 hour drive to see us when something monumental in our lives happened.

This sounds goofy, I'm sure, but I haven't seemed to have much closure. I think about it a lot more than I probably should. I really hope the wedding will be that closure. Brian and I have made picture frames and we are planning to put our parents/grandparents old wedding photos on display. Also, I've added a small framed photo of Grandpa to my bouquet. Rebecca took some shots of it during my bridal photo session last Saturday, I hope they turned out. But, what else can ya do, it's like and it's just the way it happens....

On a much happier note...Check out these two!! They are 2 months old now.

I promise.. I will have quilting/sewing coming soon!!!! Life is so hectic right now. If you feel up to it.. check out the Etsy Shop. I have a lot planned for it.. AFTER the WEDDING!
