Somebody please tell me how this is made. It amazes me to no end! I'm tempted to get the pattern, but seriously... where would you begin! i found it here at Picture Quilts by Sharon Malec. It's dimensions are 18"W x 24"L... Mom, anything thoughts?? Want to attempt it?

looks like batik fabrics and maybe some kind of paper piecing? it's lovely. how was the rodeo? this would be nice for jim. esp. if you found batik that matched chico's coloring.

This lady uses Press n'Seal to do amazing fabric art like this. She offers a tutorial. She also has free online classes (via email) at a Yahoo group called LearningFA (Fabric Arts). Well worth checking out!
I agree with Rebecca about the batik and paper piecing, but what do I know? :O)I came here from the Swaqpbot Blog Exposure swap and I thoroughly enjoyed your blog! Our lifestyles are so different, we're in the suburbs with Too Many Cats and lots of snow. I've been married 15 years, so my advice is PARTY DAILY AND CELEBRATE THE LOVE!!
I'm adding you to my blog roll so I can keep up with your interesting life.

Heya!
I thought this looked stunning! Will you be trying this technique?
Like Peace, my life is also currently full of snow and cats (well, cat) so it is a very different kind of world you live in :) *adds blog to reader*
Good luck with the wedding!
